Old Dominion Foundation, Incorporated

Old Dominion Foundation, Incorporated, was established in Northern Virginia in October 1991, and is committed to support, enhance and expand the programs and endeavors set forth in its Philanthropic Mission.

In addition, the foundation is engaged exclusively in educational, charitable, and cultural activities beneficial to the under‐served and overall community of Prince William County.

The vision to form this foundation began with Willa Rawls Dumas and DyAnne Horner Little in October 1989. During the formative years, the membership looked to the future and pursued its goals in the spirit of dedication, hard work and a quest for excellence.

The Foundation is celebrating 23 years of fostering efforts to strengthen families in Prince William County by providing opportunities for individual and small group tutoring; promoting cultural awareness and enrichment of the African‐American family, providing scholarships and supporting endeavors of organizations and agencies that are also involved in efforts to support the under‐served citizens in the county.
