The Links, Incorporated is a volunteer service organization of concerned, committed, and talented women who, linked in friendship, enhance the quality of life in the larger community. The organization is primarily concerned with enriching, sustaining and ensuring the identities, culture and economic survival of African-Americans and persons of African descent. To contribute to the formulation of a positive, productive, and culturally diverse society, The Links, Incorporated also focuses on education, cultural enrichment, health and wellness and civic involvement. This focus is implemented through strategies such as in public information and education, economic development, and public policy. Who We Are

The Links, Incorporated founded in 1946, is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. Members of the Old Dominion (VA) Chapter have upheld this tradition of friendship and service in Prince William County, Virginia for over nineteen years.

Greetings and thank you for visiting the Old Dominion (VA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated website. It is my honor to invite you to explore our chapter’s programs and accomplishments. Chartered in 1993, as the 250th chapter of the organization, Old Dominion (VA) has evolved as an award-winning chapter with members who are committed to exceptional philanthropic service in Prince William County Virginia. Our chapter’s mission statement is a living document that promotes advocacy through action in the delivery of our signature Full STEAM Ahead Program. The impact of services provided through the Arts, Health and Human Services, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, and Services to Youth facets promotes educational, social, and civic enrichment.

Our dedicated and professional members work collaboratively with a spirit of friendship and service to render equitable transformative opportunities throughout the community and globally.
